Dual 12W Diode + 3W IR adds
The SCULPFUN E1 is a fully enclosed desktop laser with a 12W 455 nm diode, a built-in camera and a 400 × 320 mm working area. The cover keeps smoke, light and most of the noise inside, and Sculpfun certifies the machine as Class 1, so it fits a home office, classroom or craft room without a separate enclosure. CoreXY motion engraves at up to 600 mm/s with a 0.04 × 0.06 mm spot, and the same machine cuts wood in a single pass.
Choose the Dual version and a swappable 3W 1064 nm infrared module joins the 12W diode, so one machine marks metal and plastics as well as wood, leather and acrylic. The honeycomb panel, air pump, exhaust kit and safety goggles are in the box, and the camera lines up the job on screen. It runs on the free Sculpfun Space app on desktop and phone, with LightBurn supported.
Why this machine
Safety
The cover filters up to 99% of laser light and keeps smoke and most of the noise inside. A safety lock, emergency stop and Hall sensor stop the laser the moment the lid opens, so it is safe to run on a desk at home or in a classroom.
Dual laser option
The Dual version adds a 1064 nm infrared module next to the 12W 455 nm diode. Swap between them in minutes and one machine handles wood, leather and acrylic as well as metal and plastics. The Single version runs the 12W diode only.
Camera
See the material on screen and drop your design exactly where you want it. Place the piece, line it up, start. No measuring and no wasted blanks.
Motion
A CoreXY frame moves smoothly and positions accurately. With a 0.04 × 0.06 mm spot, fine detail and photos come out sharp at twice the speed of Sculpfun's comparison machine.
Working area
About the same working area as many open-frame machines, with room for 450 × 350 mm material and pieces up to 42 mm thick (30 mm with the honeycomb panel). Big enough for batch jobs and larger signs.
Cutting
The 12W diode cuts through wood in a single pass with the included air assist. Thin acrylic and leather cut cleanly too. Cut depth depends on material and settings.
Air & exhaust
An air pump clears the cut and two exhaust fans pull smoke out through the included hose and flange. Pair it with the SP1 smoke purifier for a cleaner room.
Add-ons
The honeycomb panel is pre-installed. A rotary attachment engraves cylinders and tumblers, the SP1 smoke purifier cleans the air, and a touchscreen controller adds offline work. All sold separately.
