Made in Quebec, Canada, Menhir Xtreme Lock is a high-performance FDM/FFF bed adhesive built for the hardest part of 3D printing: keeping technical polymers stuck down. It holds everything from everyday PLA to PEEK, PPSU and PEI/ULTEM, at bed temperatures of 150 °C or more — one bottle instead of a drawer full of specialty glues, slurries and tape.

Xtreme Lock vs. Bambu Lab Glues

Bambu's Glue Stick and Liquid Glue are made for everyday filaments on Bambu build plates. Xtreme Lock is the step up when you print engineering materials, run high bed temperatures or use other build surfaces.

Printing PLA or PETG on a Bambu Textured PEI or SuperTack plate? You probably don't need any glue. Choose Xtreme Lock for nylon, PC and high-temperature engineering prints, or when you switch between many materials and don't want to change adhesives.

120 ml (built-in brush applicator) Frequent printing, engineering setups and print farms — 300+ prints on a standard bed.

Core Highlights

  • Built for technical materials: developed for PEEK, PPSU and PEI, while staying compatible with everyday PLA, ABS and PETG.
  • High-temperature hold: stable adhesion on intensively heated beds, up to 150 °C or more.
  • Works on almost any surface: glass, aluminum, PEI and carbon fiber.
  • Lasts multiple prints: a single application covers several print cycles.
  • Protects your build plate: helps prevent surface damage on high-adhesion prints, with easy part release once the bed has cooled.
  • Easy cleanup: washes off with water or IPA.

How to Use

  1. Start with a clean, dry, grease-free build plate.
  2. Apply one thin, even layer over the print area and let it dry.
  3. Print. One coat lasts several prints — reapply when adhesion starts to drop.
  4. Let the bed cool completely before removing parts. Clean with water or IPA when you want to refresh the surface.

Using a Bambu Lab printer? Use it on the Engineering, Smooth PEI or Textured PEI plate. The Cool Plate SuperTack is designed to be used without any adhesive.

Real-World Maker Tips

  • Workspace Safety Notice: This formula contains an alcohol-based blend, so the liquid and its vapors are highly flammable. Keep the container tightly closed and never apply it near open flames, sparks, hot tools or active, unshielded heating elements. Use only in well-ventilated spaces.
  • Cleanup & Disposal: Once the adhesive layer has completely dried on your build plate or cleaning wipes, the dried material can be disposed of with normal workshop waste.
