Achieve exceptional print success with the Bambu Cool Plate SuperTack, designed to provide ultra-strong adhesion for PLA and PETG filaments, even at lower bed temperatures. This advanced coating virtually eliminates print failures caused by poor first-layer adhesion or warping—making it an ideal choice for large-format or high-precision printing.

The SuperTack coating maintains its grip and performance through extensive use, offering long-lasting reliability and consistent results while reducing waste and energy consumption.

Bambu Lab Cool Plate SuperTack

Features

  • Superior Adhesion:
Enhanced SuperTack surface ensures strong bonding for PLA and PETG prints, even at low bed temperatures. Reduces warping and lifting for reliable first layers.
  • Durable & Long-Lasting:
Retains over 80% adhesion after 300 prints, extending plate lifespan and minimizing replacement costs.
  • Smooth Matte Finish:
Produces a clean, matte bottom surface that blends seamlessly with the rest of your print.
  • Energy Efficient:
Requires lower bed temperatures for secure adhesion—saving power and supporting sustainable printing.

Care & Considerations

  • Surface is soft; handle with care when removing prints.
  • Not compatible with TPU — printing TPU may damage the coating.
  • Adjust bed temperature to optimize adhesion for specific materials.
  • Before auto-leveling, ensure the nozzle is clean by wiping it on the designated area of the plate.
  • Normal wear in the wiping zone does not affect print quality.
  • Clean gently with water and mild detergent only. Avoid solvents such as acetone.
  • Not recommended for Bambu PLA Silk, which can adhere too strongly.

Compatibility

Fits the Bambu Lab X1C, X1E, P1P, P1S, P2S, X2D and A1 (256 × 256 mm bed). Not for the A1 Mini, A2L or H2 Series.

About this product

Does this SuperTack plate fit my A1 Mini, since it's the same family name?
No — this listing is sized for the X1, P1, and full-size A1 printers, which share a 256×256mm bed. The A1 Mini uses its own smaller SuperTack plate, sold as a separate listing. The coating and behavior are identical across both, but the physical dimensions aren't interchangeable, so match this to your printer's actual bed size before buying.
Why would I pick this over a standard Cool Plate for my X1?
Mainly for adhesion reliability on PLA and PETG at lower bed temperatures — the SuperTack coating is designed to virtually eliminate warping and first-layer detachment on large or detail-heavy prints, which is exactly where a standard Cool Plate can start to struggle. It's a meaningful upgrade if you regularly print bigger parts or intricate geometry rather than small everyday objects.
Is it normal for the nozzle-wiping area to look worn already?
Yes — Bambu's own listing calls this out directly: normal wear in the wiping zone from auto-leveling doesn't affect print quality and isn't a sign of a defective plate. It's cosmetic wear in a specific functional area, not degradation of the adhesion coating itself, which is a different part of the plate entirely.
Can I run ABS or PC on this plate since it's rated for stronger adhesion?
This plate is scoped specifically to PLA and PETG — ABS, PC, and other high-temp engineering filaments aren't supported here. For those, you'd want the Engineering Plate, which is built and temperature-rated for that range. Running unsupported high-temp materials on a SuperTack plate risks both poor results and coating damage outside its intended use case.
How careful do I actually need to be removing parts from this plate?
More than with a standard plate — the surface is soft and should be handled with care during removal, since the strong grip that makes it great for adhesion also makes forceful prying riskier for the coating. Let the plate cool fully first, and work a scraper in gradually from an edge rather than trying to pop large parts off in one motion.
